Thanks so much for following me here, hope you enjoy the new look.
South Fork, CO family. Thank you to all who entered my little photo contest. I was so excited with each entry and it was so much fun to watch all your votes rise! Casey Graham had the most votes with 40 total, Amanda Gibbons had 33, Brittany Off had 30 and Sandra Freeman had 18.
I can’t thank you ladies enough for entering, you made this competition so awesome and thrilling. Without your commitment to it we wouldn’t have had a competition, so thanks!
So without too many more words, because I know you are dying to know the winner, the following pictures tell the story of who won. As the rules stated the top three with the highest total votes were entered into a drawing and this drawing was completely random. So the three entered were Casey, Amanda, and Brittany. And the winner is…

Congratulations Brittany, you are the winner of a free photoshoot with Amy Caroline Photography, I can’t wait to photograph you and your sweet family!
For the other three dear ladies who entered; Casey, Amanda and Sandra. I have a special something for you three also. You are all so special and I wish I could give all 3 of you a free photoshoot also. And so I did the next best thing I could:
Each of you will receive a coupon for $100 off your next photoshoot with Amy Caroline Photography, if you choose to use us for your photo business, which I hope you do
.
Once again thank you all for participating, I had such a blast. Until next time.
XOXO Amy
A couple of weeks ago I had the grand opportunity of assisting Sarah Heinle of Sarah Nicole Photography with a Colorado newborn shoot. She needed a second pairs of hands and I was more than happy to oblige. Little baby girl Mya was so precious; she was teeny tiny, but already was 10 days old. Mya was such a trooper with all the props and poses we tried, and I am so glad I got to capture a few of her sweet baby face. Thanks Sarah for letting me help!

I have been pondering this idea for a while now, and have decided to jump in and just go for it. I am going to do a little fun contest for the South Fork, Colorado crowd. I know there are so many of you that mention you would love to have photo’s but just can’t afford it, or don’t have the time, or don’t like how you would like to look. Well, I’m going to be giving out a free photoshoot. So here is your chance to grab that opportunity and run with it. This is for anyone, the young, the old, the couples, the families, just the kids, the friends, and the singles. I am game for anything. I don’t plan on doing this often, so take this window I am giving you and run with it!
Here is the finer print:
1. This is for the South Fork, Creede, Del Norte, and Pagosa Springs area. This area and these people are dear to my heart and that is the reason for keeping it so restricted. If you are close, please let me know your circumstances and we will see if you can make it work!
2. This is for a portrait session only. This is not for weddings!
How to Enter:
1. Go to Amy Caroline Photography : Right HERE on Facebook and “like” the page. (You have to like the page in order to enter the contest). If you already like the page, then you’re good to go.
2. Write a post on my wall telling me what kind of photoshoot you would like and why you would love to have photo’s done. Tell me a little of your story and why photo’s are important to you.
3. Have your friends and family:
Jack Gilbert has recently gone to be with his Lord. After much pain and suffering we are all rejoicing that he is finally dancing with Jesus free of all suffering, and when I say dancing, I mean riding horses because for Jack, there are horses in heaven! He was a true cowboy in every sense of the word. A cowboy is not just about the boots, or the animals, or the hats, a cowboy is truly a man of honor and dignity. Jack Gilbert was the embodiment of this, a quiet man of virtue and grace. He has left a delightful legacy behind; if anyone is blessed to know the Gilbert family they know part of that incredible heritage. Jack was a loving husband to Suzy, an exceptional dad to Jonathan and Keisha and Wes and Katie, a doting grandfather to Clayton, Colton, Lyla, and little Molly Grace, and an inspiration to all who knew him. Please celebrate with me, a small glimpse of the legacy that Jack has left behind in this marvelous family: the Gilberts.

Tanner is a precious bundle of joy. I spend 20 or so hours with him a week and our bond grows each day. He’s already learing how to survive in this world of ours, and where his place is in the hearts of all those who love him. His big brother Hunter already adores him and says, “Wuv m lwittle bwover” decoding, “Love my little brother” it’s so cute to watch their relationship already blossom. Obviously I cannot help myself and whip out my camera every now and then to capture his precious face and little grins.
